These three buildings are making bricks in the war torn city of Quandahar. You could even see the last building emitting smoke and the bricks laying in front of the building.

A family outside a destroyed home in Paghman, Afghanistan. The place I was born! I remember walking around old destroyed ruined homes back when I was a child. There were walls barely supporting themselves and in the center of the homes you could see plants growing out from the rubble.

This is a picture taken that shows 5 woman by themselves in Afghanistan buying shoes. This shows how far afghanistan has come since the fall of the Taliban and the freedoms woman are gaining and can hopefully secure more of in the future.

I found this image on Tumblr (posted by "visitafghanistan") and thought it would be a great sample of the first piece of work I'll put on this blog.
